How to Install CodeIgniter via Softaculous on cPanel
Step 1: Log into cPanel
- Access your cPanel account.
- Under the Software section, click on Softaculous Apps Installer.
Step 2: Locate CodeIgniter
- In Softaculous, scroll down to the Frameworks category.
- Find CodeIgniter in the list and click on it.
Step 3: Start the Installation
- On the CodeIgniter information page, click the Install button to proceed.
Step 4: Configure Installation Settings
- Fill in the required fields:
- Choose the protocol and domain for your installation.
- Specify the directory where CodeIgniter should be installed (e.g., type the name of a new directory or leave it blank to install in the root directory).
- By default, CodeIgniter will be installed in the root directory unless you specify a subdirectory.
Step 5: Complete the Installation
- Once the installation process is complete, you’ll see a confirmation message.
- Take note of the details provided, such as the installation URL and admin area link.
